Lander Regional Hospital (LRH) is now under the direction of interim CEO Rebecca T. Brewer, while a national search for a permanent hospital CEO is underway.  Brewer assumed the top leadership role after the Thanksgiving holiday following the resignation of Ben Quinton.

Brewer will make one of her first public appearances in Lander at the Dec. 14th noon meeting of the Rotary Club of Lander, where she will be the guest speaker.

“We are fortunate to have Rebecca Brewer serve as our interim CEO at Lander, as we launch an aggressive national search for qualified candidates to fill the top leadership role on a permanent basis,” said Don Bivacca, president of the National Division of LifePoint Hospitals® of which LRH is a part.  “Rebecca has considerable healthcare management experience and will help ensure strong management and leadership during this transition.”

According to Bivacca, Brewer has more than 30 years of healthcare management experience.   Most recently, she served in St. Cloud, Florida, as CEO of St. Cloud Regional Medical Center, where her focus was building culture and developing strong, multi-disciplinary clinical teams.  She holds a master’s degree in nursing from the University of South Carolina. She is also Board Certified and a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.

“With Rebecca’s appointment, we have taken the necessary steps to ensure stability and strong leadership until a permanent CEO is identified,” said Joe Quiroz, chairman of LRH’s Board of Trustees. “We are confident that we will find the right person to lead the hospital in the future.”
